8AM, Gloomy street . Unusual quietness on the bus. Panera's corner seats taken by old republicans sipping their morning coffee. I left in a haste for fear of seeing sign of merriness on their faces.
10AM, PDE teacher ended the class by "now it's time for us to go back and lick our wounds".
